- Another great place to look is the radio, although you might want to stick to satellite radio with the specialized channels. Podcasts devoted to women’s sports are also a great way to keep up.
- And, if all else fails, there is the internet. You could type “women’s sporting events” in almost any search engine of your choice and find what you’re looking for.

There are many different reasons the UConn’s Women’s Basketball program will continue to thrive for many years to come. The first reason is when you win National Championships and are on television all the time, people want to be part of your program. Winning means the best athletes want to be part of your program. This will help sustain grown for UConn’s Women’s Basketball in the future. The second reason is their coach Geno Auriemma who always gets the most out of his players. He is one of the main reasons Women’s College Basketball has been so good at UConn.
The truth is Women’s College Basketball at UConn should be around for a long time to come and playing for National Championships. As long as they keep their coach and get top talent like they do they will be tough to stop.]]>
The Lady Bears’ coach Kim Mulkey lead the team to a record setting season following a disappointing loss in the Elite Eight in 2011. When neighboring school Texas A&M won the championship, the Lady Bears decided they had to win this year. This year they planned to finish their unfinished business from the heartbreaking end in 2011. Their dedication to that goal paid off and they not only won the NCAA women’s basketball tournament, they won every game this season.
Any team who hopes to take the title next year should know that they will have to work hard to beat Baylor. Stand-out center Brittney Griner has decided to stay in college for another year to finish her education. With returning starters on next year’s team, Baylor will be favored for a repeat championship in the 2013 NCAA tournament in New Orleans.
While other teams have been undefeated since the inception of the NCAA, none have played as many games. The previous record was 39 games.]]>

Solo began her soccer career as a forward, scoring 109 goals in high school. She led her team to a state title in her senior year. Though she successfully played forward in high school, Hope Solo switched to goalkeeper at the University of Washington and was a three time All American. Solo played professional soccer in Philadelphia, Sweden and France, Saint Louis, Atlanta and the now disbanded team, magicJack before signing with the Seattle Sounders.
